How did Castlevania work the NES and SNES chips so well? Like a lot of games had great melodies, like Mario and Zelda but Castlevania feels like it just used all the right instruments y'know? I don't care what people say about the uber epic remixes of this from Dracula X, Symphony of the Night or any of those newer games. When it comes to the truly greatest version of this song it is definitely the original. All the new versions try too hard to be loud and epic, they don't have the same eerily awesome feel as the original.
