Alfie Signs Colours

Thanks Alfie! :) I have a question: Is it okay to do the signs with right hand, or is it essential to do the signs with left hand? The sign for 'colour' example, is it okay to sign it with right hand or does it mean something else if you sign it with right hand? :)
