This was the only time in her career where she was considered country. She quickly converted her music to a more "pop" sound in order to sell records. She sold out country music. Shame on her.

Thank goodness she evolved into the Martina that we know. She has been tops since the beginning. So many from this era were great but not pushed...you cant stop a legend like this.
