I think we all wish we could have met the guy. There will never be anyone close. The era has a lot to do with it (not his talent (which is in the stratosphere) but in those days, stars couldn't be created by CG and electrical enhancement).

He will always be the most talented person we've witnessed... and such a genuine nice person. You don't have to have met him to see this - it comes across loud and clear.

I have met Freddie since 1986,1987,1990-2x,

and last time I met Queen on the Freddie's Funeral.There was charming,brillant and totally friendly man!
