@chucknorris44444444 are you high, parodise sucked cause it put all this effort into making the world but forgot to make the races....well RACES, they were just "hey get to point B while these other drivers that drive 50 mph and take the long route attempt to beat you", what made burnout 3 so perfect was the well crafted maps while they are linear thats how a racing game NEEDS TO BE, open does not = better, plus the soundtrack was pitiful and save like 3 songs didnt want to make you go fast

and licence A isnt the 40% mark its the 60% mark, on top of that the games idea of progression is immensly flawed aswell, just make you redo everything, i mean you dont have to at first except they dont tell you what you have dont or not done after you a licence upgrade,

besides any game that doesnt get goo tillt he 40% mark(even though its really the 60%) doesnt deserve to get a passing score regardless, at most a low 6/10 but really a 4/10

I have beaten and 100% completed Burnout 3, Revenge, Dominator, and Paradise, some more than once and I still think burnout Paradise was best, then Burnout 3. Both games are extremely easy up to about the half way mark but they are still both a lot of fun.

Some people just think that games they played when they were younger are better simply because they played them when they were younger. ie n64

2 burnout 3 was not easy at all even in the starts, there was a learning curve and the ai would leave you in the dust if you fucked up unlike paradise where you can mess up as much as you want and your still likely to win

what made burnout 3 so perfect was the sense of speed, soundtrack, the style and more importantly the maps, the race tracks are so well crafted and fun but also challenging and requires skill to traverse without crashing, it had style and personality while staying fun
