  • u are awesome dude, people are idiots huh

  • But, if God really does create everything- including the bible and our daily thoughts and actions- then isn't God just creating things just to disrespect them? It seems God does that with everything- like women, the environment, other people, cultures, religions and philosophies. No respect whatsoever for any of his creations. And even rivers- which give us freshwater for the continuation of life- are disrespected. Isn't that where all the poop goes? How about those dams?

  • In the immortal words of a modern day prophet- Mr. Bob D.- "Its easy to see without looking to far, that not much is really sacred." Now, that would be OK if you just made it up. But it is worrisome if someone just creates something to be torn apart and spit upon. What does this really show about God? And where are we as humans if that is the case?

  • my bible comes in two-ply

    my quran comes in three!!!!

    torah only one ply

  • It is not just that Christianity is ridiculous, dangerous, and oppressive. It also requests to be treated with special deference, a deference it has never earned. Its adherents have committed, in its name, the worst atrocities of the western world and refuse to prevent atrocities created by other stupid ideologies (e.g. communism, fascism). Thus, it fails in the two ways it claims succeed, (i.e. to do no harm and to prevent harm.)

  • Then Christians ask to be "respected." Fascism, Communism, and radical Islam are not respected. Why do Christians wish to be free from criticism and disrespect. Christianity gets the disrespect it deserves. Those that Christians disrespect are innocent victims and get disrespect simply because they are different. Gays, Women, and Jews have never done anything that could justify the oppression they have received from Christians.

  • An ideology only deserves respect if it is truthful and beneficial. Christianity flunks on both counts. Insisting on being respected even when you do harm and do not prevent harm after having promised to so, NOW that's immature. If we disrespect Christianity publicly, others will feel less intimidated by Christians and feel comfortable making legitimate criticisms.

  • This can lead to a reduction in the harmful hold Christianity has over our society. Only then can sexism, homophobia, racism, and other maladies encouraged by Christianity be lessened. IF more people had disrespected Christianity all along, more criticism of it would have been possible and less people would believe and be motivated to act in evil ways. Many people's lives might have been saved. Disrespect toward evil is imperative and necessary.

  • SkepticSage, It was impossible to 'disrespect Christianity all along', nor would it be possible in a Christian Theocracy. It is rather like what happens with witchcraft. If someone says that they do not believe in witches then the only possible reason to do so is because they are one, thus doubters become witches, or Satanists, or whatever, provided that the sentence is being consumed by fire.(it is OK to burn people to death as it is the fire that does the killing, said st. Paul in letters).

  • Hi Discipline 01

just wait till you get a nasty cold

then you can sit by the fire all day and tear pages out to your heart's content

and blow your nose on them.

bet you have a sore nose though by the end of the day

    best wishes drigin!

  • I've already wiped my ass with the bible on youtube. Did it in 2 videos actually.

I've since deleted my entire account of videos but eventually if I start making videos on a regular basis again I will most likely wipe my ass with it... As long as I don't have a job I could jeapordize with it. Damn Christian bigotry. Like they didn't do worse to the Gnostics

  • The bible paper is too rough for one's nose. Better just recycle the paper.

  • not if you steal one of those fancy old bibles from a really old church; that old vellum is a really nice product

  • If it's as soft as a vellux blanket, then I'll have to get me some next time I have a cold!!

  • ★★★★★

  • The guy you were thinking about is David Mills. watch?v=yFve5PaKoco

In an earlier video, I blew my nose on pages from the Quran, but I took that video down when I decided to go in a somewhat less abrasive direction with my channel.

  • To my mind Christianity was never intended as a religion, only a way of life.

The bible is a meaningless book unless you are a fundamentalist, and follow it's interpretaion strictly.

what matters really in life is goodness and faith in your fellow man. keep religion in your heart if you must.

have respect for all fellow creatures,

If you really must blow your nose on the bible

do it on the page you hold in contempt.

  • Nice thought, thanks

  • My best friend once used a page from the Bible to roll a joint with.I have this picture of the Bible with a warning label on it that says "This is a work of fiction". Then it list off all the "Explicit content" with in the Bible. If you want I'll PM you a link to the picture. It's hilarious!

  • Yes give me the link!!

  • do you think the bible has any value whatsoever?

  • Not if taken literally. Maybe as literature. But even then it is of questionable value. If taken literally, it can and HAS had an incredibly destructive effect on the world. Are you not at all concerned about any of the bizarre contents of the bible? The condoning of violence, slavery, sexism, homophobia, etc? Most good Christians have never read the bible with any thoroughness. If more people read the bible closely, less people would be Christians, at least not fundamentalist Christians.
