It's great to hear this video helped some of you! Without that spare shifter that was pretty close to the same kind... and my pop's help, I woulda been totally lost! I hate that feeling!
You have provided a great public service. I scratched my head trying to remember how to reassemble mine. Then I remembered that everything you want or need to know is on the internet or "THE GODFATHER" movie. I could have had a couple more beers relaxing if I would have watched your video first. Guess I will have them now. Thanks man. Will check out your website.
Thanks for the video. It helped me out as I worked on my shifter. My only concern is using grease. I would think silicone would be sufficient as grease attracts dirt and grime. Just a thought, maybe someone who does this for a living can chime in.
And here I've been trying to slip the washer in between the key and the housing :( Thanks for posting this-I should have this turkey back together in 20 min.
I'm very happy these videos helped someone! I've been very lucky to have my pops supporting me with all the MANY things I didn't understand. I hope I'm giving back some of what he gave me.
YOUR A CHAMPION. I've been lost trying to figure out how to put that high tension littler of the 2 spring back in thanks for the help
