its only the glass that is broken, the display is okay. you need to change only the glass. :)

@MagickFlames If your ipod touch is broken go to the apple store or where you bought your ipod touch and get a new one , but if you've had your ipod touch in 2 years you cant sadly :P

You think this is amazing lol Ipods are tanks! Mine has about three times the damage to the screen (the circuit board is showing in one spot) the glass is popping out of the housing which is BENT there a countless dents on the housing the hole for my earphones has a bend in the opening and my lock button is jammed stiff. Lol but everything works on it fine and the lock button works you just don't feel a click when you press it

Yea, that i can recall theres more than just one screen to an ipod touch the sensative screen you acutly touch then the LED screen in the baground.

There are acutly little fibers weaveing cross hatch formations across the first screen to see where you have touched and that does not brake when the glass acutly shatters i had my iphone do that and i sent it in to get it fixed, Boy was that a pain in my ass repair bill it was 120$

just to replace the glass that was cracked.

I had my ipod in my bag at school and someone stepped on my bag and it shattered all around the bottom and the little button is missing and bits of glass hanging out but i still use it. its split across the screen and it still works fine

i had this lady come into my work and she was all mad because I wouldn't return her ipod touch that had a "crack" (more like a scratch) in the screen. She was so mad she was cussing at me and I told her that I wouldn't return it and I told her it would work fine with the crack in it...and she was like till it cracks all over and I explained the glass sheet, the display, and then the touch levels and she wasn't convinced...it stank how mad she was i wish I had showed her this video to prove it!

yeah mine started with just a couple cracks in the middle, than everyday they spread and like a month later cracks covered the whole screen and glass was falling off it....but it still worked!!!

You can go to Ebay and buy a new glass and digitizer for $20 and watch a info video on youtube, I fixed mine in 30 minutes max! Just gotta watch the video and follow the steps, pop out the broken glass then pop in the new glass, And then after you fix it take it to the apple store if its still under warranty and tell them your touch screen doesnt work sometimes and they will give you a new ipod touch with NO scratches!
