  • Good prices, but this guy does NOT know what he is doing.

  • I'm actually going to order both of these tools right now. I like how this guy keeps pointing the connector toward the camera. It is actually kind of funny in moments when there are some little issues but instructive nonetheless.

  • One question, I think I saw the foil being removed in this video. I thought the foil is not to be removed?

  • @Excalibur741 It is NOT supposed to be removed, that defeats the whole purpose of the shielding. LOL

  • This video is one of the better videos. Thank you.

  • I wish you were MUCH Clearer on your site for which accesories I should or could buy with each of the various F type connectiors. NOT REPEAT NOT what "other people bought" but WHAT EXACTLY the correct 2 or 3 crimpers or cutters / stripper tools should be bought or considered when buying this ends vs another type..

When I select the ends, I'd like a list of EXACTLY the correct crimpers or other compression, or cutting / wire stripping tools that would go with or make my assembly easier.

  • The reason you are having so much of a problem pushing the connector on the cable is because you took the foil off the dielectric. You should never take the foil off the dielectric. It ruins the shielding and makes it difficult to install the connector. That's also why the dielectric was longer when you took the connector off. The jacket and braid slid back from the force of the connector.

  • @kcoldani You sound like you know what you're talking about. I'll take your advice. Thumbs up!

  • Thanks a lot. Please post more "how to" video like this.

Monoprice is very good. Customer for many years. Best price for quality. Recently I've bought many things including 6-hole keystone wallplate, white color, but Monoprice sent wrong one. They promptly gave me refund. Awesome.

Will buy more stuff and recommend Monoprice to friends and family.

But need to increase choices like keystone speaker banana plug, front and back, not solder type.

  • This is the place to go for great prices. Makes me sick thinking about how much I have wasted locally for network and cable projects. Good video, almost too much information, but thanks for taking the time to demonstrate. You should do this with more of your products. Sold me.

  • I buy my cables from monoprice. good quality cables.
