So chaos will generally flood the situation, and thus you need requisite variety to control it. I think I understand that as being Ashby's Law of requisite variety. A system to organise the level of variety at a lower recursive level.

It's hard to understand this video with that stunner of a chic popping up!

Thanks for these videos they are brilliant especially as I'm studying systems thinking.

An economy is a complex adaptive system.  The adaptive system simplifies in response to the simple control system. This manifests as suppression of division of labor.
