It is not pure disco. It was never played at Melbourne's top disco, Tatlers, in Swanston Street in 1978 when it was released. I was there almost every Saturday night in 1977 and 1978 and I remember the entire disc collection played by the DJ. The genre is not disco, but pop. Still it isn't a bad song.
