Wow cool. Did you have to pay much for customs? I keep hearing about Aus people on the Axe-FX boards bitching about paying $200 and $300 customs and it's kind of scaring me.

A good lesson I've learned is DON'T settle for less than what you want. Period. Save. Save. Save as long as it takes. Then buy what you want. You will end up so much happier.

Wow... pretty good!! But I was surprised when I got the same Tweed tone on my Tonelab LE.

I have none, but youtube has many great ones. I recommend you to try a Tonelab. Set the Tweed 1x12 emulation with a 1x8 cab, Gain, VR Gain and Treble on Full, Middle and Bass at 9 o'clock and Presence at 0. I also adjust the Tonelab LE global equalizer: Trim=-7, Lo=8.6, Mid=8.6, Mid Freq=4, Hi=7.0. Axe-FX is awesome, but I can't afford one.

what setup did you have before the axe? did you use tubes or were you one of the many vetta converts?

Peavey Bravo and Rock Master preamp thru a Thiele cab w/EVM 12L is my main setup right now. If I had to pick, I would still go with my Peavey stuff for live. The AxeFX is close but not quite there yet for me. Great for recording.
