My 1993 Standard Ford Escort Wagon squeals the tries at lights sometimes and easily when it rains. Love this car as it is only the second car I have owned of 7 that can peel out from a dead stop and make some good noise. Only once do I think I might have left some smoke from the light early this year. The only other car was a 1987 Dodge Omni that could do this till it got wrecked. Fun cars to drive and quick little buggers too.

Nice! My first car looked exactly like that one! Mine was a '95. It was previously my great uncles car but he couldn't drive anymore so I got his car. I was driving it for a couple of years, but it started to have a lot of problems right before I sold it. This car wasn't very powerful, but it got me around to many places & it was free. My current car is a '06 Toyota Corolla which is 5X better than my Escort was. I gave the Escort to my younger brother when I bought my Corolla.

None of them "blew up" or "tore up the transmisson" doing a burnout.The only thing that would tear up wwas rubber! And all of them except my current one were completely stock! On my wagon and my first 2dr hatch, I could run 10 mph and come to a stop burning the wheels. Its all in the driver.
