They used him as a wing, I doubt you'll see him as a center this season. But his prior position was indeed, center. Flyers also signed a few decent players during the off season to fill wing positions, I don't know how much more of Powe we'll be seeing.

And as far as Powe head-hunting, if you watched any of the Flyers games this year you would know that Darroll Powe is not a dirty player and probably a player that you want on your team...

Why don't you guys understand that if you go head hunting, you might have to answer the bell? If you don't want to fight, don't go after someone in a vulnerable position. The instigator lets people throw cheap hits and skate away laughing. THAT is the problem.

Maybe I'm jumping in at the wrong time, but I didn't see any head-hunting here. Just a hard hit, shoulder to shoulder. I DO remember Weight throwing a head-shot on Brandon Sutter earlier in the year. It was memorable because it was the only hit I've seen him throw. And now he's fighting. Must be senility in his old age.

Where do you see head hunting? What I see is Jackman putzing around with the puck not able to pass it away quick enough and he gets drilled with a clean hit. Years ago in the league when you got hit clean you tipped your cap to the guy the hit you, took his number and then you get him back later. This so called "sticking up for your teammate" crap when he got hit cleanly has no business in hockey. I have no problem with jumping a guy for a dirty hit but this one was as clean as a whistle.
