here is my hypothesis on how it is done. Remember its only Television so his buddy there is in on it. One hand is on his coat near the inside. When he puts the pen in notices he sticks to fingers near the inside probably taking the coin that is stuck to something there. Then you'll notice his left hand (first hand) drops off screen for a second thats when he says "this is your coin". He simply drops it on the floor then turns around and ban the one he pulled out from his coat before is there.
