Rap is pretty much rotten to the core, with the exception of 3-4 songs(out of the whole genre). Pretty much everything you hear on radio, tv and that sort of thing is bad for a few reasons. It lacks originality, it lacks depth, and most of all lacks technicality. For those are the only unbiased ways to evaluate music. And based on these 3 simple things, most music people are listening to is poor quality, although people may like it, that is a different situation all together.
