  • Not a bad song on this album. Back then you really got your moneys worth when you spent money on music! Now your fortunate to get two good songs on the CD. The one you buy it for and MAYBE one other....

  • this is the metal in Aerosmith

  • @metalwillliveforeve1 this is real metal, fuck that crunkcore hollywood undead shit.

  • @metalwillliveforeve1 Damn fucking right it is. Aerosmith was a helluva 70s heavyvmetal band back in the day. So underrated in that department.

  • joe and brad.....lets see you bunch of posers play that....

  • i met steven tyler

  • This is real music! Rock 'n roll baby!

  • Back in the 70's my mother thought I was listening to "Devil Music". One day she sent my father up to my room to listen to what I was listening to.

I played this song for my dad and he liked it. We jammed together.

After that day I could listen to anything I wanted to.

    Go dad!

  • @sponsler fucking sweet

  • Muy buena la cancion fuerte siempre Aerosmith!! Very good song! Aerosmith rocks!(never say better)

  • steven is sitting in a chair making 20 million broski

  • why is Aerosmith so fucking amazing?

  • @45Hamlin " I hope Steven Tyler is doing well."

  • @45Hamlin What is wrong ??

  • my coming back home from deployment anthem!!!

  • @Bravoman1 thank you!

  • great.

  • Steven Tyler's book.'Does the sound in my head bother you?'(yes, it's alot like his song writing all over the fokkin' place) but he goes into vivid detail how the band wrote alot of these albums, all the shit that was going on, the little indiosyncracies and inspirations for alot of the songs and albums we love. Must read if your an Aerosmith fan. I listen to these tunes different now, for example in this, theres a part he'clapping coacanut shells in a recording booth to sound like horse hoofs.

  • Another example he was talking in the book was recording "Sweet Emotion" and how at the begining of the song you hear what sounds like a 'shaker' or 'maraca/ percussion type instrument? That ( Shhchakaaaa Shhhhchakaaa Shhhhh sound?) In reality it wasn't an instrument at all..It was him shaking a tiny sugar packet into the microphone in the sound booth in the studio....is that ingenuity, brilliance or what? Unless he never wrote about that I'd of never known any different.

  • Ladies and gentlemen..... Rock and Roll!!!!

  • I first heard this song in 1976 ... okay then. ... heard it 25 years later and since 2001 it has been one of my favorite 10 songs of all time!

  • Reminds me of the first time I fucked in the backseat of my car. Sexy.

  • bomb song

  • My classmates were screaming this in school so I looked it up it EPIC

  • This song was in RED (the film) :D So rock!

  • I wore this 8-track tape cartridge device out many times, as Aerosmith was the shit back then, I don't even remember how many countless bowls of pot I smoked and toked 'cause that was the shit, too.

  • 14 people broke their legs trying to walk this way

  • the fighter song :)

  • GREAT SONG, great video, check out my video on aerosmith

  • raid on

  • maplemaster But then also who would give a shit if you listened it at some point and liked it?what if eveybody just gave a thumbs up?BORING. we like to hear stories because people want to tell them

  • @flyinv1967 It helps to reply to me if you want to tell me something. My comment is sarcastic, you're not supposed to actually give a shit about my story.

Anyways, I'll admit I probably should have thrown something in there about how people with INTERESTING stories should tell them, but saying "I grew up in the 70s" or "I watch Supernatural" both is not interesting and has been told far too many times here.

  • good very good

  • I'm bacccccccck....Brilliant. Takes me back to my teens. Tyler and Perry are almost as good a duo as Jagger and Richards.

  • @14Abdu christian bale is pretty hot too, well not in the fighter lol

  • @14Abdu ditto, and mark wahlberg is fine as hell ;)

  • I love this song. I had the LP in 76. I saw them in Hampton Roads VA in 76.

Brings back a lot of memories that only songs can. Can't get it on I-Tunes.

  • The fighter sent me here

  • awesome first heard it when i watched Red during the fight scene between Karl Urban and Bruce Willis and instantly loved the tune truly awesome

  • This song is the absolute peak of their career. Sorry kiddies, but they haven't been this good since.

  • @atomicpunk48 nah. calling people "kiddies" doesn't change the fact that Permanent Vacation and Pump were actually their best records, despite the fact that they weren't made in the 70s.

  • Comment removed

  • @instereovideos Sorry pal didn't mean to offend you. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I liked the bluesier 70's stuff way better. The 80's stuff, although not bad, seemed to be created for MTV.

  • @atomicpunk48 nah, you didn't offend me at all. I know lots of people who don't know shit about music, why would I get upset about it? : ) Was 80s Aerosmith too "commercial" for you? Have you ever thought about trying to get a job as a critic for VH1 or Rolling Stone? People who say tired shit like that can get paid for their opinions at those kinds of places. Think about it sometime...

  • @instereovideos Hey buddy, tried to apologize to you, but my question to you now is: Do you enjoy being an asshole?

  • @instereovideos Wow. That is a pretty spectacular display of WRONG!

  • @topher01 whoa, that was pretty douchey. Don't do that again.

  • @instereovideos douchey? maybe. but not WRONG...

  • @topher01 easy pal.

  • @instereovideos I don't believe Pump and Permanent Vacation were their best, they didn't even write HALF of the songs on those albums. Much too poppy. The real Aerosmith was hard, heavy metal blues rock, the type that Axl Rose and James Hetfield grew up to and were inspired by: Toys in the Attic and Rocks.

  • @Animelloveer Cool, thanks for the biography.

  • @instereovideos You're welcome. Now go check out their REAL music.

  • @instereovideos You're welcome. Now go check out their REAL music. (Debut album, Get Your Wings, Toys in the Attic, and Rocks.)

  • @Animelloveer OK. How 'bout you just learn to like a good song, no matter if Aerosmith "wrote it" or not. You jokers and your little Rolling Stone magazines... Older does not always mean better, and "pop" does not always mean "bad." You should actually listen. Pump and Permanent had their best shit, I don't care how the fuck it happened, or if you read somewhere that it was "poppy." Yeah, the old stuff is great, but stuff like Ragdoll and The Other Side just rocks the hardest. Sorry dude.

  • @instereovideos OK man...not trying to insult a fellow fan.......yes, I HAVE listened to them, and honestly, the songs which Aerosmith wrote weren't bad at all. (And Rag Doll, and Dude Looks Like a Lady are a bit catchy, though they were written to be that way) ANYWAY.....yes, with Aerosmith, you will never get a totally suckish album (except Just Push Play)..I think Rocks is their hardest record, but hey, whatever Aero rocks better to you is fine with me, man. See you at their next concert.

  • good song

  • i'm a fan because I think I can make it better

  • i first heard this song when i couldn't give a shit.

    love it.

  • ausome song my favorite band

  • it would've been cool if they didn't need the drugs to make magic like this :/ just glad that their achievements are set in stone

  • herd it on supernatural and I'm 16 and love this song

  • @imdonewitit Ooh look at you, breaking teenage stereotypes. How about you break one more and use capitalization.

  • @DancingInTheRain73

This is Youtube, not a literary forum/

  • My favorite Aerosmith concert was in 86 or 87 at the Hampton roads Colusiem, at the begining of the show, the very first song (after Aerosimth had not been touring for something like two years) the stage was dark, covered by a curtain, the music started, and it was "Back in the Saddle Again". The opening cords started out low, and slowly built to a cresendo as the curtain slowly came up, at the top, the lights exploded, then Steven Tyler slid to the front of the stage and screamed, "I'm back"!

  • Heard it from 100 Glasses video MysteryGuitarMan

  • watch?v=XPXULlIxv6o

    B&B & Aerosmith

  • man...the intro totally sounded like something off metallica's album.

  • @johnnnycassh Which album? James Hetfield WAS inspired by Aerosmith and this album, after all....so I'm curious.

  • @Animelloveer I cant find the comment I made so I dont know what ur talking abt. Hetfield and Slash to name a few, were inspired by the Rocks album....if that answers your question

  • This video was just added to a music playlist at JustPlay.fm

  • 3:53 - Only Aerosmith could get away with a song that included yodeling.

  • this is a remake of a 40's country song..

  • @camtheman65 no

  • @baumbart99 um 'no' what ?

  • @camtheman65 Really? I'd like to hear it. Can you point to it?

  • The Fighter!!

  • 13 people arnt back in the saddle

  • Cloppity-Clop..............I think the only time coconuts have sounded good in rock'n'roll history.

  • why was this replaced with this crap we call pop?

  • @samsin519 dude that's exactly what i think. it's soooo fake!
