  • economy hurting you? Let me help.

  • this song is not about democratic or republican this song is about people from all races in the usa and all over the world are feeling the economical pressure we are one people nont matter where you from

  • mccain is terrible man! He has no GUTS.

  • McSame has no clue

  • McHoover

  • this number one song vice grip sing about the bad bad economy & economic this song is not about democratics or republicans this number one song is about people from all reces are feeling the economical pressure so this song is not baout obama or mccain

  • this is exactly my problem as well what is it that they are going to cut in order to do these plans.

  • Free power to the world & its people, lets stop killing the planet! search disclosure project! people have died to save us search disclosure project! USA hides U.F.O's for years SEARCH DISCLOSURE PROJECT free power all you need is magnets SEARCH DISCLOSURE PROJECT

  • Rich people create wealth, and jobs for the average person. Not all jobs are supposed to pay big dollars. If you have no skills and little education, why would you expect to make big money? A married couple making $10. an hour each will earn $41,600. if they work full time. Not too bad, a family can make it on this income. If you want to make more money you need to invest in yourself.

  • Well in NC people can make $30 an hour with no High School Diploma. The government doesn't raise wages states do. My argument is don't raise the minimum wage to $40 to people who don't deserve it because that just raises the price of everything else. Meaning the raise does nothing to help you. It only helps pshycologically.

  • you can make millions with no high school diploma but that has nothing to do with the minimum wage. People usually get paid based on the overall economic picture if what you do generates billions then you deserve hundreds of millions if not billions no matter what your education is.

  • Granted. However im saying the more you raise the minimum wage the higher prices go. think about it. Apple=$1.00. Truck Driver got a $1.00 raise so the Apple is now $2.00. Now the stocker and the shipper. the apple is now $4.00. Im with you if you do a job well than you should get a raise and go on making millions if you are a asset. However dont raise the salary for every single person. Just the hard working.

  • i understand your point but what has been going on over the years is that the companies profit margin is going only to the higher ups. The top tear management keeps increasing their own salaries and compensation packages at a much higher rate then middle and lower level employees. What i want to see is more companies tie in a large percentage, like the nba, of the profits of the company and reward the lower level employees better then they do currently. but instead they only reward upper level.

  • But not everyone thinks like you do. Some people see as. Hey if im gettin the raise than im doin good. Make people work for a living not make them feel better. But good point though. However if people think that when they get to a higher level and not rewarded they will not put forth effort.

  • but that is a lot of the problem with the business world today. people work for themselves and not the company. if companies spent more time creating an atmosphere that is not so individualistic they will have greater success but the whole boot strap belief has taken this away.

  • Well I dont know where you live but the minimum wage keeps going up and more and more saftey regulations keep coming so people have to do overtime to get the job done which is good for the individual but not the company because if you make $50 overtime it costs the company $100

  • Granted. However another problem is the rise in salaries. That does nothing but raise the price of everything else so low taxes and low salaries helps. raising salaries for the whole population does nothing. Raising em' for the people who earned it is what you do.

  • When we get ideas, lets' filter them. Please check my page. Socioeconomic Empowerment will help improve the economy. Take time to open your mind.

  • If America lowers the taxes of the Rich Middle Class and big investors like Pepsi people will be able to spend more causing a great increase in jobs because investors can spend more money on investments like new factories or plants.

  • There are three branches of government that have influenece over the economy. the President can't order any of these other two on what to do and he sure cannot order the Federal Reserve. Having said that, look at Senator Dodd and today's news. He is over the Banking committee and the Federal reserve. He recieved some sweet deals from countrywide before the bubble. Not blaming, just pointing out there is more to this stuff.

  • Home prices are finally coming down across the country making home ownership within reach of average families. I'd rather mortgage payments decline a $1,000 a month and have gas gon uo $200 a month, than vise versa. Interest rates have come down too which helps me out. I LOVE this economy.

  • Amazing. The head of the senate banking committee, Mr. Dodd, got sweet heart deals from Countrywide right before the bubble. And he is over the regulators?

  • Orion901: How can you even think the way you do? Why do you try and tell people that cutting taxes helps the economy, when you know good and well that most of the Democrats you are speaking to have no clue how basic economics works. How can you make fun of their woeful ignorance like this. Just because some of them may be too stupid to understand Supply and Demand and other economic principles doesn't mean that you should rub it in their face.Let them enjoy their ignorance! Bobby Jindal 2012

  • Every one should have low taxes in order to accomplish this we need to close all the loopholes. Just by moving the corporate off shore this should not exempt them from taxes. Enron move its offices off shore and paid no taxes in the U.S. there is something wrong with this picture. At this time when oil companies are making record profits why are they getting government subsidies tax payer mony to and to their profits.

  • So they can build more jobs. Hint more money+less tax=more jobs and investments

  • That's the special interest group on whose behalf the Democrats are fighting.

It's a group that wants peace, prosperity, a clean environment, better schools and affordable health insurance. And bridges that don't fall down.

The people who can't afford to buy a cable news network or a full-page newspaper ad, the people who are profiting ENORMOUSLY from the war in Iraq. The people who don't own oil companies or stock in military contractors.

    Us.

  • What a "Weapon of Mass Distraction"

None of them have a clue but Dr. Paul period!

  • obama for presiden!!! i hope we dont have second bush..

  • i don't see how you can pay for anything with such a gargantuan military budget and the billions being wasted on iraq..

  • Warmongers who think they're Genghis Khan and sound like Walter Mitty. LOL

Give John McCain credit, though. He's not a chickenhawk, like Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld and Condoleezza Rice. He spent the Viet Nam War, uh, in bed.

  • he had it good in the Hanoi Hilton, where he snitched on his buddies for favors and special treatment.

  • Any proof?

How about when they allowed him to leave, but he stayed?

  • John McCain signed a confession for committing war crimes and made films for the NVA. Many others did also how can anyone fault them unless they have been though the same situation. I'm a veteran and do not know what I would have done everyone can talk tough that was not there.Until you have been a POW yourself do not find fault with those that were.

  • LOL, Mongols. It's mongers. But, the Mongols under the Khans WERE pretty warlike.

  • Why does John McCain oppose Obama's plan to cut taxes on "the poorest 95%"?

Why did John McCain angrily oppose Bush's tax plan and then flip-flop?

If being angry qualified you to run for President, half the men I know would be qualified.

    It's not enough.

  • McCain talks just like Bush! Fucking war mongols!

  • What's wrong with you people?! Do you honestly believe either one will cut taxes?! McCain will be spending billions a year on the war. Obama will too for probably 18 months(withdrawal period). When or if Obama can stop the war he's going to try and fund health care for all, by cutting taxes?! McCain is hopeless and Obama is confused about his ability to delegate money. And above all this, I, as an American citizen should not be forced to pay for other peoples health care or war for oil! TH[]INK

  • Obama would allow the Bush tax cuts on the richest upper percentile to lapse. This would generate a great deal of revenue for Obama's policies. You're right about the Iraq war being a huge money drain, but once we are withdrawn we'll be able to relocate those assets as well. The middle class (the main beneficiaries of Obama's tax cut) are disproportionately taxed. They are also the largest consuming group, so a cut for them would stimulate the economy.

  • Well McCain doesn't know jack about economics, and Obama has a clear record of supporting higher taxes.

    I choose Ron Paul!

  • Pay for the plan? McCain will just print more money.

  • The AP makes a good point, I still haven't heard McCain or Obama explain how they're going to pay for these plans. Although since I'm low income like 95% of Americans, obviously I like Obama's plan better. I'm sick of the "trickle down" approach. I work a lot harder than most CEOs, so I should get more benefits, that's just common sense.

  • McCain's is probably more deficit spending, ie. borrow more money from China. I'm pretty sure Obama's would come close to actually balancing the budget so long as capital gains tax income increased with the higher tax rate.

  • It is a big misconception that CEO's don't work hard. Often they work 60-70+ hour weeks to get to were they are and often maintain such long work weeks.

  • Bush has had 8 years, and his plan has not worked. We don't need to continue on this path. Obama has the right outlook - The money and tax situation needs to be overhauled. Why would we want 4 more years of basicly the same mess we have now??

  • agreed. what's more though, trickle down economics didn't work 20yrs ago with reagan either. BUT it left a lot of budget surplus for clinton to play with & wbush (rumsfeld/cheney) to use for bribing votes (in the form of less than nominal tax rebates), then to squander on courtship of special interest groups. what are your thoughts?
