A square drum is stupid. A tom like that is always going to have a standing wave inside of it at around 1000hz modulating with whatever tone the heads making it would be a nightmare in the studio! Parallel surfaces are almost always bad in any sort of acoustic situation.
1:13 surprised me fer sure! i didnt think Tama would ever make a kit likwe that.. its not really there style ya kno lol.. but i must say they did a damn good job with it =]
