As far as radiation, (more holes) this is indeed a problem according to NASA's own scientists. They have blatantly stated that space travel beyond the magnetosphere is a no go because they would have to "find a good shield" against the radiation. Well, what happened to the shield that Apollo astronauts supposedly used to get to the moon 44 years ago? Have they forgotten how to make one? I'd be willing to bet my life that most people every day do no more than look at phony Youtube videos or useless TV shows that teach very little if nothing. Here is where our American education has failed miserably. Most of you cannot even look into the sky and distinguish a planet from a star. Contact your local astronomy clubs.

if people lived on the moon, would liquid oxygen have to be transported there from earth or is there a way of extracting materials from the moon and converting them into oxygen. a heavely populated moon base would require loads of oxygen and i can't picture them lifting thousands of tonnes of bottled oxgen to the moon by rocket.

@TheSiftonStrangler Umm, Ok then I guess. Ill play... First, no where did I say he went to the moon you dolt. Second, even if he didnt go to the moon, he still has done more with his life than you have. He has received three US patents for his rocket systems and schematics. He has accomplished a stint at the US Military Academy at West Point, graduating third in his class with a B.S. in mechanical engineering.

@meushubris Everything concerning the moon that comes out of his mouth is a lie because it never happened. It was a Cold War tactic used against Russia that failed. Your country is the only country that believes your own hype. I could care less, the rest of the world is laughing and has been for years at Aldrin. The Moon landing can't be proven and if it could then show it to me. VAN ALLEN BELT!!! Look it up brainwave!
