Las Vegas is one big ole cesspool. She is lying, you cannot do whatever you want. The cops will bust your ass and take you to jail. They raid the strip clubs all the time. They have lady cops at the strip club waiting to bait you in. Every other house is a foreclosure, there are more and more homeless people filling our streets. Crime is up, wages are down and they have tightened the machines so they don't pay out. The casinos are trying to get their money back from tourist. It sucks.

absolutly the dirtiest, most disgusting city in the US. Makes mumbai look clean. I live in SF so Im no prude but this city is just disgusting. Little mexican boys begging you to take porn flyers.. getting hit up left and right to buy drugs.. not funny and not cool. Unfortunatly I have to go there alot for work.. I just stay in my room and watch tv. I would never ever bring my family to LV. Save your money..go to NYC, Boston, SF, LA anywhere but vegas

jmac705 steer clear of Fremont East. His money is better spent in clubs that sucker him for a 20 dollar cover and 15 dollar cocktails. Fremont East is truly for a more genuine, hipper set. Another off strip gem is the "Pinball Hall of Fame", tons of restored, playable, pinball machines.

vegas is the most disgusting city I have ever been too. It is so dirty I cant believe its in the United States.. It makes Mumbai look clean. Everytime I have to go there I bring tons of disinfectant and hand gel.. UGHHH I cant imagine people actually want to live there..

Oh you don't know the half of it. They have cut teaching jobs in already over crowded schools. The only place you can drink alcohol on the street is on the Las Vegas Strip, outside of that you will get arrested. They don't show the child prostitution or the crazy people who will mug you. They only show and talk about the glamorous stuff. What about all the businesses that have closed due to the economy. Yeah, she isn't telling anyone about that.

You got that right. It might be cheap to fly here and even stay at one of the hotels, but the casinos have tightened up the machines, so you wont hear about anyone winning any money. Most of the casinos are empty now because of the economy. Too many people are without jobs here and they do not gamble because they don't have the money. That is why they tightened the machines, so they can get their money back from tourists. Las Vegas Sucks ASS!

I live here and see it for what it really is. Most people who move here, come here and get stuck. They don't make enough money to move back to their home state because the jobs don't pay anything here. It is like Las Vegas hasn't kept up with the rest of the U.S. when it comes to wages. We spend so much on Power bills in the summer and they keep going up on the rates. 4 rate increases in 1 year is ridiculous. The average power bill is over $200 per month.

I would highly recommend checking out Vegas, there's really nothing like in it in the world. As far as the hotel prices, I'm not quite sure what she's means; depending on the time of the year, there's usually plenty of great deals right on the strip. Another tip, the more you stay, the better deals you'll receive in the future. Ultimately, you won't go there just once.
