Thats one funky looking Ibanez and to say its more of a Metal sound from it you got quite a good tone from it - quite close to Eddies sound - well as close as your going to get with that guitar Impressive playing, one of VH best songs in my opinion

You could just remember this:

Eddie's guitar during the main riff (verses and intros) is a whole step up. To play this in standard tuning, just read the tab and play the strings two frets up.

The prechorus and chorus is in standard.

The outro is 2 and a half steps down, so most of it would be somewhat difficult to play without stopping and tuning in the middle of the song.

nice job doing it without the transtrem, esp the open string main lick wich is done using open strings in "transtrem A" but in key of B its more difficult fretting that lick. i love jammin on that song, i try to get away with using a capo real quick to switch between A and B keys.

dude! I HAD THAT GUITAR IN THE EARLY 90S!!!! but it was orange! i traded my maple neck, like yours, for a rosewood with a very, very good guitarist... Mark McGee from VICIOUS RUMORS. i knew them in the early 90s. ever heard of them? The Ibanez neck is the thinnest and fastest around!

the reissue rg550 is the same color as what you had back then...its called road flare red. basically its dayglo orange. yes i agree the original wizard neck is the thinnest widest fastest smoothest neck in the business
