You sound pretty good for only a couple of days (back then) I dont partiularly like squiers, i tried one in the store and i felt like throwing up, the tone was so tinny. You sound pretty good though, so whatever floats your fancy.

I have played guitar for 10 years! One year ago I decided to start playing some bass on the side!

I just bought a cheap bas, cheap amp, and I LOVE IT!

It only takes a couple of days to get used to the finger technique, which IS A MUST for the soft smooth bas toneonly 10% percent of the time I use a pick, which gives a sharper sound!

Its fun jamming on the bas, to the songs I used to jam to with my guitar :-)

A few things I would recommend to remember before you buy.

...Consider getting an amp with AUX-IN or Jam-along-function! That way you can sit with headphones late at night and jam and learn the songs you like! Many beginner amps have it

For gods sake buy a compressor pedal! This is very important!

Dont trust compressor/limiter functions on the amps!

Just a cheap multipurpose BOSS CH-3 pedal will do! Without it you will never get a decent sound!

At last: if have short fingers consider getting a short scale bass like Epiphone EB-0 or Squier Bronco!

You play the bass like a guitar. They are very different instruments. When I started bass it was hard becasue I played guitar first, like you. So i played it like a guitar, not like a bass but you get used to it. But yeah it is something you gotta work on.
