this song is fantastic and love this song but, it wasn't my favorite on the album until i read 1984. The book the song is based off of. Its an amazing book and after reading it i've realized more songs have a concept like 1984 besides resistance.

Futurism is similar to 1984 In a futuristic setting where no one is free.

New Born is another song about being in the future and not being in control

Citizen Erased name was inspired by 1984 Its a great read if your a true musefan get it

@jm1jonas They're 30. They would be pegged as trying to get attention if they did the shit they did back in the OOS/Showbiz phase. They may come off more commercial than trying to be old-school. Bringing it back once and a while would be cool, but not all the time. I admit the light up LED suits are a little too much for me, but that's Matthew. To me, new Muse is just as good as old Muse. Old Muse is only really awesome because it happened for such a short amount of time.
