There was a forum post on Stonesthrow records where a guy was analyzing dilla and madlibs chopping, and he noticed that there is sometimes a weird pop as it sounds like they switch to a different sample in the middle of a playing sample. I never noticed before but it sounds like he does it at 00:33. Thought it was interesting.

@wesleykim0330 exactly, plus dilla was working till the very end...he even had help from his mother to push the mpc for him when we struggled moving. plus he could play classical piano exceedingly well. he was well and truly a musical genius, and this is why he's more talented then say, the likes of dr dre (decent, but overrated). shame dilla stayed in the underground.

I dont know why...but this song has such a sad vibe. Like....he made this knowing he was goin to die soon. Love this track, but I get a lil depressed listening to it.
