@DarkorbitPUNKTde the oldest version of the Venator in Minecraft you mean? :) I'm not sure if this one is the oldest, but it must be one of the first fully-hand-built massive ships in Minecraft ever. It dwarfs the Enterprise, which was only about 200 blocks long. This thing is 400 blocks long. It also almost has a similar altitude, if you count from bottom of the hull to ceiling of the bridge.

@SupaCassu kits in a multiplayer server. Back then, the kit spawn limit was 64. And all blocks were placed by hand. There's a new one under construction somewhere, should be listed here.

@deathrow791 the empire also used the Venator class. And the Star Destroyer classification was a generic name for a certain type of vessels. The new republic used them too! Look at the republic and nebula classes.

@RipstickBR this far? 4 days. Remember that we could spawn blocks, but we had to place everything ourselves. To the contrary, a video here in the responses used a 3D model to make it. Still a nice job (since making 3d models isn't easy), but yeah. You should check out my latest video of the venator (also in the responses). We're building a bigger, more sophisticated and more detailed version of it there.

They were called Star Defenders during the Republic era, they were changed to Star Destroyers at the beginning of the Empire, you can tell Defenders and Destroyers apart from color of course, and the distinctive cockpits, the Defenders having twin cockpits and the Destroyers having the weird ball orbs on the tops. The main engines at the rear are also used to tell them apart.

@TopGun904 Actually, the name "Star Defender" came about at the NEW Republic era. During the OLD Republic era, they were still called "Star Destroyers". The Venator-class Star Destroyers are just smaller predesessors to the larger Imperial II-class ones that we know from the movies.

@gamehed21 no invedit used. It was just that the server had a sort of iconomy system. So all of the items needed were 'mined'. Enite mountains were mined away, in order to buy the iron needed for this. I know this, since I was around on that server at the time.

@FatNature it doesn't always have to be Star Wars music ;) Part of being innovative is to try to mix up new stuff, to seek new frontiers, and such. As this construction was one of the biggest (if not the biggest) at the time in Minecraft. I might be going to build a Lucrehulk battleship, and do something special with it. Make it interactive and stuff like that :)
