Funnily enough just last night Ovation channel aired Don McLean's 1982 Dominion Theatre concert from London including interview with Paul Gambaccini (apparently now available on DVD). The highlight probably was Don singing 'Vincent', though it appears an excellent concert from start to finish (missed first 20 mins or so).

Words practically fail to express how heartfelt and warm your version of Roberta's big hit is. Beautiful stuff, love it.

I really enjoy your voice, but can't quite describe what i like so much about it? the notes are so deep, there is so much going on with each tone...I don't quite understand your interpretive dance? U should take your camera to a university stage or some auditorium, or just outside in the lamplight! really let the energy flow, and explode. Your room contains the expression to much!
