  • damn man why they gotta make the v6 so fast.

  • screw everybody else, i love the new headers and off road x

  • You fucking douche.

  • sounds like shit.

  • Really nice Stang! But racing some V8's...not recommended with just bolt ons.

  • That is just too ricey and too loud, begging the cops to pull you over and give you trouble and for the EPA to investigate where your cats are = $2,000 fine if they find out. I have a borla atak cat-back, jlt cai, 93R tune and an o/r xpipe.... there is no need for long tubes. Its overkill. My neighbors are OK.. with my setup, but if I did that, they would key my car without question. I hope you make you're neighbors cookies every week cause I can see them going nuts after day 1.

  • I think it would sound better without the roush exhaust and just the headers n mid pipe. that axle back you have is just making a bunch of noise. still, really sick upgrade man.

  • i have this car... and i dont understand why you would do this.... headers on a v6...some fanboi shit right there

  • What kinda wheels are those? & where kan I find them?

  • I have the roush on my 5.0 and it sounds good.

Yours sounded good, especially for a v6, prior to the header install. You should try the gt500 a/b and see how it sounds.

  • wait, youre telling me my stock comes with those shit ass headers? i shit bigger than that

  • music music music plis??????????

  • @andresxalbo avenged svenfold, its an insrumental, cant think of the name

  • headers went in pretty easy without pullin the motor?

  • the before sound was better lol

  • @oMLB4Lo Nooo

  • @FastReflexx then you must be def.

  • I'd definitely like to see this setup with a quieter/deeper exhaust such as the FRPP exhaust, Borla Touring, or Borla S-type. If you have the cash, the FRPP axleback sounds outstanding.

  • Wanna race :-) haha

  • nice video man

  • Nice !

  • That is the most annoying sounding car. My 11' V6 is quick, but doesn't sound like an old man hacking up a lung.

  • This is one of the coolest V6 3.7s I've seen on the 'tube. Nice shit!

  • i came into this video expecting poop. i left amazed at how far ford has come and you at making that v6 sick sounding and badass. nice job man!

  • That's pretty damn impressive

  • Same setup as my v8 vette, ur twice as loud haha! That mustang really does have one of the best sounding v6's on the market today and there's no denying 300+ horses! If I were "forced" to switch to one of these from my vette I don't think I'd be too unhappy haha.

  • is this the base model?

  • does doing this upgrade void your waranty?

  • Well they are making turbos now for the 2011 v6 with some pushing 500rwhp at only 8psi. $25000 for a car plus $5000 for a turbo is still cheaper than a GT and still fun. And I can say the insurance is a big deal. In new Orleans which is the worst insurance in the country and the difference from my v6 to a GT was about $1500 a year. Gas is irrelevant

  • I just don't understand why anyone would buy a V6 and do all this work. V6's never sound good no matter what you do and you'll never have the power like a V-8. If you did just an intake, axle back exhaust, and tune on a GT you'd be pushing around 430 at the tire. The usual excuse is...oh I want better gas, oh my insurance will be too high. It's always a bullshit excuse. If you have money for a sports car, get a V8. If not, just stick to something that will get you gas mileage.

  • Did you get a check engine light after the install. I have a Procharger installed on my 3.7, and a magnaflow comp. cat back. I want something a little more throaty to match the power, but not overwhelmingly load since it is my daily driver.

  • Awesome video bro, nice mustang too! i think you said you have the ceramic ones, im looking into the BBK chrome LT headers shouldn't be much of a difference though. How do you like them so far? Its a big difference hearing them in person, wondering if you can help me out, i have some questions for you, please private message me! Thanks buddy

  • r u still running a good gas mileage?

Im not sure if i install this header how am i supposeto pass the emission test

  • i love how you have the old fashion night rider music and that set up sounds amazing man.

  • I just started laughing when I heard it, does not sound like a v6 at all. Awesome set up.

  • "watch they even make me run faster" LOL

  • @1LoudMerc true but the nissan gt-r is twin turbo and costs 90,000 and you upgrade the v8 to whoop it for even less so who is the real winner here?

  • Your neighbors must hate you

  • @dylanhines0414 I have a 5.0L with the same set up + a kenne Bell 2.8LC and my neighbors hate me......

  • Nice video. Car is really loud but sounds great in the higher RPMs.

  • Sounded better before.

  • @manawydan760 no way! your crazy! thats what all V6's should sound like stock

  • Did you put some kind of kit to make the car sit lower?

  • That is one mean sounding v6 nice car dude.

  • I drive a 350 camaro and I would rather have one of these new pony car v6s any day. Sounds sick and I can't wait to see some numbers!

  • my lord this sounds amazing! i am seriously considering a v6 stang and im just wondering if this incredible sound is the byproduct of the bbk's?

  • wow sounds great for a v6!

  • reminds me the noise hondas make :(

  • @youngmulaiswatigot This sounds nothing like a honda.

  • sounds too raspy... -1

  • Hahah My V8 Titan makes this sound like its not even on LOL DUOMAX DUALS FTW!

  • That sounds pissed!

  • Not bad but just like the commercial "I should've had a V8"

  • sounds like a ricer now.

  • is the car lowered?

  • Far too raspy

  • damn that bitch loud!! :P

  • save all ur hardwork just buy a v8 ;)

  • Im thinking about getting the BBK Long Tube Headers for my 2011 V6 Mustang. I dont wanna put a new exhaust and mufflers on it though. Do u think i can still putt the long tube headers on with the stock exhaust and mufflers?

  • sweet roush mufflers what did price did they run

  • Great video man, funny because i have the same car and by the looks of it we live pretty close (lauderhill). Out of curiousity why would you go with catless? Don't you think that would make it ridiculous loud and lose back pressure vs leaving the cats on with the LTH and the Roush AB? Love the AM wheels, thinking about those too or the RTR's. See you at the track one day.

  • Please make another video!

  • That's the same setup I want for mine as well, but now that I hear yours, I think I'm going to skip on the exhaust and see how it sounds just with the headers, I don't like the rattle can sound.

  • @FordRacer2007

that's a terrible idea...open headers?!? no back pressure means terrible performance not mention you could actually damage your engine with the lack of back pressure! buddy i know put Dumped m80's on his, sounds really nice, closet sound i've heard to a v8 but it STUPID loud...so be warned if you go that route

  • @Roush20115XR Well I had done it on my 07 Focus, had CAI, 67mm TB, Header, but no exhaust. I guess it is a different story with a mustang. I found 1 video on YouTube with a Mustang with the m80 that you mentioned, sounds pretty neat, but I'd have to get it custom made correct?

  • @FordRacer2007

yeah, but it would be easy, just cut and clamp (or weld if you prefer) and some kind of exhaust hanger fabbed up!

  • Sorry to say it dude but goddamn...you managed to make your car sound like a V6 pickup truck with straight pipes

  • so your neighbors hate you now? lol. nice

  • sounds good, but it is too loud... and the headers gain good hp but it gives that raspy sound, it's annoying for me

  • Manual or automatic tranny?

  • What's the hp gain on these headers? Where'd you get them?

  • holy that is epicly loud!!

  • 0-60 in 5.1 seconds out of an N/A V6 is by no means a "girl's car". The V6 is powerful, handles great, gets great MPGs and is a better suit for daily driving. Don't trash other people's cars, 300HP is, in all honesty, more power than a street car needs. If you want more power, than it's going to be built, and when cars are built, you CANNOT compare the two. Amazing things have been made out of 100hp I4 motors, this V6 will definitely be a success.

  • Nice ride man! I've got a 2011 V6 also. Its an auto with the only mods being a BAMA 93 tune and 3.73 Ford Racing gears. Steeda CAI and possiby Magnaflow catback or FRPP axle back, then I'm through. Insurance is way cheaper and I'm getting 29 mpg hwy. I'm wondering are those headers street legal? And what's your horsepower at the flywheel?

  • it's loud but the tone is terrible, it sounds sick, what mufflers do you have on here?

  • hahaha SICKK ASS CAR BRO!! CONGRATS!! how much did everything costs? ;)

  • Your neighbors prob hate you.

  • Lol..this video is great. Love the Knight Rider music. I used to clown on people for putting money into a V6 Stang or Camaro, but now the V6's are legitimate muscle cars. Your car is a screamer. The haters can go piss up a rope. This is what muscle cars are supposed to be, cheap and fast. My '11 GT is fast, but it wasn't cheap lol. And I don't even need the ridiculous power for everyday driving. Looking back, the V6 would've been a wiser purchase since I get my speed fix on the bike.

  • Hahahaha! Actually my stock gt made 382 rwhp which is more like 430hp! And of course you can mod a v6 to be as fast as a gt,you can make a civic as fast to with enough money. Oh and your gonna start the nitrous argument? Ok since the the new 5.0 is only 5 tenths slower than the new gt500 in the 1/4 with a simple 100 shot it puts the gt faster than the gt500! And into viper and z06 territory! Nice try though! Lol

  • @daddyd666 Bottomline, you can get a 2011 V6 Mustang to the 2011 5.0 power level for slightly less than the price difference....But in all honesty, if I had a little over 30K I would have gotten the 5.0 vs the V6. But Im very happy with the V6, and its all about whats in your wallet and what fits you.

  • I have a six myself but something about your video makes me laugh... maybe its the music lol

  • it sounds pretty good at idle...very good at idle, but i'd switch out that roush axle back, and go with borla touring, something not so loud, and a deeper tone. bassani maybe w/ resonators to kill the drone??

  • LOUD! I'd put the a CAT pipe back in there... definately keep the police off your back...

  • Man looks like changing out the headers is a breeze compared to the 1999-04 Stangs... Nice car bro I definitely like these new V6 Stangs.

  • do u know if headers like those are legal in california?

  • roush has drone?

  • you need some flowmasters on that pony

  • screw the v8, stay single get a 6 banger, and a fresh 27-29 mpg. win win win

  • @necessaryevil101 getting 34 in mine =)

  • @TexasGunslinger9, thats outrageous. i cant even get that in my honda fit lmao.

  • @necessaryevil101 Well as soon as you break out the 305 ponies, it goes goes down quite quickly lol

  • godamn that sounds sick

  • i would hate to be your neighbor lol

  • I love it when people say "Real men drive V8's."

No. Real men don't sit on the internet talking down other people's cars/decisions. That's childish shit.

  • @m0nkeydump this comment should be in the forums

  • Bla bla bla! Ya it's a nice car even though muscle cars shouldnt make a v6 model! Maybe for a girl....but really the car sounds like crap! I could care less about if it can beat a gt....which it won't it will be a side by side race with your v6 with headers! Trust me I live at the drag strip! And with a 100 shot you might not get embarrassed by a new 5.0 buy you will still loose! You guys will never learn!

  • @daddyd666 305 HP's is for a girl? So 93-02 V8 F-bodies were for girls, since they put out 275-310? And a 2011 V6 with headers would be pretty even with a 10 GT, yet it cost less. So get off your high horse, some people either can't afford the GT or don't prefer it. Myself, while I would have loved to get a 11 GT, it came down to the 10 GT or 11 V6 for me....And I took the 11 V6 with no hesitation...6 spd vs 5, same HP and close times, better with gas, lower price, lower insurance, etc....

  • @Punisher7121 best comment ever in praise for a V6. thats what i am thinking as it gives me a room to add my choice of rims and the music system. also the lease on V6 is great.

  • @Punisher7121 Same exact situation for me. I could afford either a brand new 2012 V6 or a 2012 GT. Since the new V6 is almost as quick as the old GT why would I pay more for insurance and gas? The only thing better about the GT for me would be the V8 sound which isn't worth all that extra money flying out of my pocket!

  • @onlycodered And by 2012 GT I mean 2010 GT. lol

  • @onlycodered I actually upgraded to the 5.0 GT a month or so after I posted here :) The 2011-12 V6 compared to the 2010 V8 is a no brainer, and would make the same decision between those 2 vehicles everytime. But after they had been out for a year or so, I was able to find a used 5.0 with very low miles at a good price!

  • @Punisher7121 98-02 V8 Fbods made 310whp stock, so your numbers are a little off.

  • @nbm2000ws6 Where do you get that my number were off? I said the 93-02 Fbody's made 275-310...The LT1 was 275 and the LS1 was 310. So I'm pretty sure my numbers weren't off...

  • @Punisher7121 you're quoting crank hp, not wheel hp. Some 01-02 LS cars made almost 330 stock to the wheels. GM under-rated the shit out of them.

  • @nbm2000ws6 Everyone knows they underrated the LS1's. But key word there is some...My LS1 Z28 didnt have 330 to the wheels, thats for sure.

  • haha its kinda funny seein those tiny headers bolt up under that massive valve cover

  • i love it. this is how you do a v6 exhaust guys.

  • Love the sound and looks of your v-6. After watching this video, I think I will try and and get one.

  • did you forget the gasket?

  • @zipper978 no its there :-)

  • @pastelasoproductions hey buddy, what size rims & tires on your stang.

  • I'm a camaro owner, I gotta give you credit. nice car.

  • I'm not hatin on the fact that you have a v6 and will probably put more and more money into it to try and get to 5.0 hp, and by the way you will need 8k to get to the 430 crank hp the 5.0 has. But that exhaust setup sounds Terrible! Wow!

  • @daddyd666 Why don't ppl that buy 5.0s get a GT500? They will spend 8-10k to get the kind of power that it puts out... why not just get the Shelby? Everyone has their reasons as to why they get a V6 or 5.0 but i will say one thing... If i line up with a 2010 or older V8, my little 6er is gone.. and with a 100shot... bye bye 2011 5.0 :-)

  • @pastelasoproductions thats true about 5.0 buyers buying an gt500 or boss 302, but that V6 sound everybit as good as an old pushrod 4.0 out of an ranger just saying.

  • @pastelasoproductions I agree. Buy what you want. The mustang is the best breed of muscle car out there today. For 4500 bucks there's a supercharger out now that makes 475 at the crank as a bolt on with all other stock components. The mustang v6 is fast. period.

  • @pastelasoproductions that is a very easy questions to answer. the 5.0 is alot lighter then the gt500. the gt500 is .4 liters bigger and is forced inducted and is rated at 550hp while the 5.0 makes 412. with just a intake and tune i am already passing gt500 on the track. thats a no brainer on why i would pick a 5.0 over the gt500. the boss 302 lugana seca beats the gt500 in everything and is cheaper.

  • @pastelasoproductions that is a very easy questions to answer. the 5.0 is alot lighter then the gt500. the gt500 is .4 liters bigger and is forced inducted and is rated at 550hp while the 5.0 makes 412. with just a intake and tune i am already passing gt500 on the track. thats a no brainer on why i would pick a 5.0 over the gt500. the boss 302 lugana seca beats the gt500 in everything and is cheaper. also i have videos on youtube where im putting 411 to the wheels. check it out

  • @pastelasoproductions

mod for mod the 05-10 GT will win, i see it practically every weekend at the track! and their is actually a guy with a procharged 11' that puts a pretty big beating on some of the older gt's but still can't beat the 5.0L with bolt ons! so i'm not sure the 100shot comment is accurate! anyways, you should try putting dump m80's with the LT's, sounds REALLY good but is insanely loud, but nice mellow deep tone...better than the roush IMO...sick little sixer ya got man!

  • @pastelasoproductions i have this car, and all i can say is that i do not support dumping thousands of dollars into it for performance mods... what you are essentially doing is compensating for a v8... all the money you spent by now could have got a you a base model 5.0.... for me i am happy with my v6 and its only mod which is a CAI... it is a v6 and i leave it at that... i dont try to add headers and such... i applaud your efforts, and imitative, but in my opinion the car sounds much worse

  • @pastelasoproductions To be completely honest with you, I paid 17k for my 11 v6 convertible and even if I spent the 5k on a procharger, $1100 for exhaust, $380 for the tune, I still would have 420HP in a slightly more nimble version than the 5.0 or GT500 add another $200 for gears even better, and still pay 8k-15k less. Now if I had paid for the premium with all the bells and whistles and got a 31k v6 mustang thats another story.

  • maybe not the coyote 5.0 buy how about a mustang GT from 1969 to 2010???????????? those gonna get beat by 3.7l!

  • ok rainman.

  • @daddyd666 Are you retarded? This is the greatest sounding v6 anyone has ever heard...

  • @daddyd666 the 5.0 has 412 hp stock. A simple 100 shot of nitrous on a stock V6 would put it in 5.0 territory. And don't get me started about the procharger kit thats not even 5000 that makes 475 crank hp on the stock V6 at like 8psi.

I just bought a 2012 V6 for less than 23,000 out the door after taxes everything. A 5.0 similarly equipped would've been well over 31,000 after taxes etc.

  • @daddyd666 Why do ppl have to hate so damn much. Shit man he likes what he likes and you like what you like. He likes V6 Mustangs and you prolly like to feel up on little boys but.. no ones judging you. Get a life!

  • @daddyd666 Your right. That exhaust sounds awful. Get the magnaflow sport. Sounds amazing with no drone or rasp.

  • That was a great video!!! Loved the music!! Very informative, well shot and entertaining. Great job dude!! And the fact that you didn't have to drop the k-member to do a long tube header install was a bonus. I have a 2002 Mustang GT with all the bolt-on's and I am looking at buying a....and I can't believe I'm going to say this.... a V6 Mustang. LOL. 31mpg sold me, love the extreme variable timing on that engine. Great video!!

  • why did you get a v6 instead of the 5.0? the pice you are paying just to get to the 5.0's power is more then worth it to get the 5.0 plus the v8 doesnt sound like a 370z...

  • @bballplaya123678 1. headers only cost 500$ plus 200$ ford x pipe. 500$ for roush exhaust, 5.0 cost 8k more..insurance is cheaper for a v6, gpg is better.. big difference. not everyone can afford a 5.0 but they can still get a mustang.. stop hatin

  • any dyno numbers after the instal?

  • 350z!! wow sounds nice!!

  • I also would like to change the headers and x pipe are there's 2.5 inch diameter piping or 3 like the gt's just wondering because I wasnt sure if there were x pipes that were made for the v6 just yet? let me know.

  • awesome videos, i have to see more of this

  • Did you notice any vibration or rattling from inside the cabin after the install? I have only heard of one other person with the same setup and they complained of a rattling through a certain rpm range after the install.

  • @jtoledo15 no vibration.. lots of drone.. the roush by them selves have drone and are loud.. this setup just amplifies it even more..

  • Ive never heard a v6 mustang sound so good! Amazing sound, and love how loud it is!!!!

  • Thanks for the video, looking forward to the dyno and new track numbers.

  • how long did it take you to install them im thinking about installing it my self is it hard

  • how long did it take you to install them im thinking about doing it my self to is it really hard

  • @cars12369 it took a good afternoon to install.. about 6 hours.. you can defenetly do it if you have jack stands and ratchets..

  • very nice video

im wait the Dyno result !!!

  • You just made my life 10 times better. This is the best 2011 Mustang video I've ever seen. I have a black 2011 V6 with the PP package. I'm 16 and have parents that aren't very supportive about the whole car modification scheme. My birthday is coming up (mid-May) and I'm just curious what the best mod I can ask for would be. Those BBK long headers sound AMAZING. If I pair those up with some Borlas (S-type or ATAK?), that would be a deadly, aggressive combo. Although your setup is freaking loud a

  • 290rwhp/270tq with full bolt ons and upgraded gears. dynojet SAE correct....

  • HAHA! That's CRAZY! wow.....

  • Time to get different mufflers!! Maybe some GT500 axle backs.

  • I am not a big v6 mustang fan but I would have this car with all the mods

  • Where's the row of red lights streaming back and forth on the front of your car NightRider?

  • Comment removed

  • you guys freaken rockkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • 4:40 is where the end result starts

  • Nice video!

  • @pastelasoproductions

That's a pretty cool vid :) I'd like you to post details incl Manufacturer Part NOs if possible. I've got a new 2011 V6 Convertible (Auto) with a Rouch body-kit, Rouch 20" wheels etc and lowered onto Eibach springs and Cooper 20" tyres...but it needs to sound like this. PM me if you prefer - cheers.
