  • Voice Crack @ 1:12

  • that Diesel was not around for long, shame.

  • That diesel is a class 40

  • I wish The Diesel/Class 40 would return, he appeared in many of the magazine stories. Even D199/Spamcan appeared in one of the magazine stories.

  • Yeah Duck and Stepney, Screw the diesel engines :D

  • james has a narrow gauge whistle at 3:38

  • @bamanux that was meant to be Stepney's as he pulled in I think or maybe there was a narrow gauge engines on platform far left as that's narrow gauge engines station

  • lol, he left a "rather nasty smell." He must have farted on his way out.

  • actually i think it is

  • Wasnt stephney part of the small trains and where did he go

  • @ididi9 Nah, you're thinking of Scarloey

  • At 2:10 I saw a lightning strike

  • @The11deano Yes I saw that, also you can see a few seconds after The Diesel has no face! Look Closley

  • they had worster diesels in past.

  • Comment removed

  • just so people know, it wasn't James whistling out of the big station, it was Stepney whistling while coming in

  • james sounds like a proper scouse at 1:11 with his high pitched voice lol

  • This was one of my favourite stories in the books, but I've never seen the episode before! Love it :D

  • if you listen to the music in the part where diesel surveyed the shed, you can hear that the music was simalair to the music with simba watching scar and the hyena's in the lion king.

  • I always wondered- why is it called Gordon's Hill?

  • @Tiger423853 Because in the first book Gordon stalled on the hill and required to be banked up it by Edward.

  • Because that's where Gordon got stuck, the episode is, "Edward and Gordon"

  • Listen 3:38

for some reason jame has ahad a change of whistle

  • Haha, love it at around 1:10 to 1:20 XD

  • reply if you agree with the new cgi should they make episodes based on the railway series books that havent been adapted yet, such as the small railway engines and the mountain engines

  • michael angelis sucks (just my opinion)

  • @ThomasSeriesUSA true, i preffer Ringo Starr

  • @ThomasSeriesUSA I disagree. Angelis is a fine narrator. I love it when he says "The engines glared!" and "The engines were FURIOUS!"

  • lol at 1:11

  • I love how angry the inspector looks looks like hes gonna kil somone

  • When Duck and Stepney push the Diesel into the shed his's face is gon.

  • @1000guy1 its not ducks shadow is covering it

  • hhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • I Gonna miss Stepney he and Duck made a great team

  • I'm already missing the old Thomas and Friends. The new one sucks.

  • Yes, thank you!

  • @MisterJohnnaaay CGI = FAIL

  • lol at 1:00 when dnald and douglas look at each other

  • I really think that the heavy train is rather light. Stepney (and Fenchurch) do, it must be admitted, lack the hauling power of other locos, but even now Fenchurch (currently undergoing mad stopgap repairs for next years anniversary celebrations and rather feeble due to wear) can manage six 47 foot carriages (just). I should think 3 60 foot carriages Stepney would handle well.

  • @thegreatestdoctor I think in a lot of these instances they have to keep the train lengths short to prevent the need for long wide shots to get them in - lets face it most kids wouldnt bother about a detail like that

  • in the RWS its15 coachs

  • my friend has a ertl toy of this and i thoght he was good cause of his smile

  • Notice at 4:13 that Rusty is wedged between the standard gauge loco's . kind of looks strange.

  • Makes him even smaller

  • HAHA billbarmanfan2 at 2:02

  • what class is the The Diesel based on??

    id say 33/ 40 or a deltic :)

  • 40! I saw it on a video on the season4 nameplates his nameplate said class 40

  • ummm class 40. i am not even a train person and i knew it. the way i know is because of its nameplate it says class 40

  • Another brilliant episode, I think I first saw this one on Youtube in 2008.

  • At 2:12 you can see that The Diesel doesn't have his face. What up with that? =O

  • I saw a face.

Also in the US version, Thomas' whistle is heard at 1:07, but not in this version.

  • he does but duck are shunting him

  • I noticed something like that, too. The Diesel was probably going forwards when being pushed into the shed but mysteriously turned around =\

  • 1 :11?!?! whats with james' weird voice?!

  • he straight went on all the engines!!!

    lol

  • these episodes where they had to make sets for it not just animate

  • i haven't seen this episode since i was 3! now i'm 14!

  • They killed this and other episodes with the new eps.

  • 47 CAMERA SHOTS!!!

  • Ahh the good old days with Duck and Stepney!

  • you are so right they are two of my favorite charaters but those fuckers in cananda have bucthered them and the show

  • @a2ilool canada only films and hit entertainment in us narrerates and writes the episodes so do not blame canada

  • @a2ilool The f**kers in Canada? It's the writers at HiT and Sharon Miller who did what you called "butchered" the show. We only film it. If anything, it's the f**kers in the UK, but f-ers is NOT the right word.

  • @TheRyanCarMan Yeah, only the writers are to blame. Nitrogen does a spectacular job, and anyone who can't accept that just fails.

  • @a2ilool Butchered? Bullshit. They do what they want with the show.

  • @sonicandrotor

What happned to Duck and Stepney????

  • @Luxayan all good things come to an end.
