I wonder if I can do that in Visual C++ 8... right now am using  HWND ocultar = FindWindow("ConsoleWindowClass­",NULL); ShowWindow(ocultar,NULL); but the console is still visible for a second before dissapearing...

I use Bloodshed Dev C++ 4.9.9.2 also. It's my favourite compiler.

I would rather write a WIN32 API program though, with no window.

If you just want one app to have no console, choose to make a windows app instead of a console app and compile it, no console window

Sometimes its not the best choice.

Specially for viruses. Once the user see's it, he/she will automatically check the processes :P
