I made the same thing using a usb keyboard vaccuum, a few mcdonald straws and a 9v battery. Although less powerful (although more efficient), it's quite a bit more preservative. Might I suggest adding a bag to store the actual smoke? Shopping bags, a waterbottle and tape work quite well.
