There were a lot of great performers having hits around this time: Jim Ed and Helen, the Kendalls, Janie Fricke, Lacy J. Dalton, John Conlee....but a few short years later, most of them were gone from the charts and the airwaves, and remain largely unknown to succeeding generations. It's very sad.
Where is Jim Ed From? I believe its someplace in Arkansas, I think Helen is from Missouri, Jim's voice is just as smooth now as it was back when this was recorded
