For now, those with the internet can actively search for other information, but many others are in the dark, they only know things are going poorly for many people. When BP issued direct orders to Gulf area residents violating their basic freedoms, it was only too clear. I only hope the internet can continue, but there are no guarantees.

At this time military forces will be deployed as state of emergency is declared. Historically, the people put in camps are educated people, artists, dissidents, basically anyone that is seen as a threat to the government and who dares to oppose it. I know it sounds unreal, but it happened just some 70 years ago. World War II was not a movie.

Wikileaks is not all about Assange's persona - there are many people, who anonymously work for the organization. Whoever have only heard about the website ever since the mainstream media exploded - that's your problem. I've been following Wikileaks ever since they started off in 2007 and I've stumbled upon some interesting leaks ever since. As far as the recent leaks go - nothing shockingly new in my opinion (so far) - but there is a difference to see it black on white.

@1982mariame Assange is founder and editor-in-chief of Wikileaks. I do not know much about him, I mostly know about Wikileaks activity and political agenda. As far as Assange goes, he is told to be many things for the past few weeks, but so far, neither of this claims was verified. When accurate information is presented to us, then I will form my own opinion. So far I see Assange as a man, with idealistic vision, who, after all, is the messenger here.
