  • I miss John Candy D:

  • Ox was also a great wrestler with good competition. Loved this movie so lighten up, Francis.

  • Happy birthday, John Candy RIP

  • At one point in his life, John Candy himself tried to join the army…in order to lose weight. He was rejected because of a knee injury, though. Maybe, if he had been accepted, and the army had turned him into a "lean, mean fighting machine" (not within 6 weeks, of course)…he would have died from a heart attack anyway, like his father and grandfather. It was a genetic thing.

  • Nice one... Lookin for a clip of John Candy's facial expression when Bill Murray asks the question about who cried when old yeller died in the movie Stripes. Anybody

  • f'in classic....just a clasic....He was one of a kind!

  • Lee Harvey doesn't find this funny.

  • There isn't a single bad John Candy character.

  • The reaction shot of that guy @ 0:20 is the best!

  • ramis can't keep a straight face - jimmy fallon before jimmy fallon

  • "ya mighta noticed,,,I've uhhh.."

  • R.I.P. John. We miss you ...

  • lighten up Francis

  • was that bill murray? where is dan aykroyd and the other dudes

  • True, Harold Ramis cracked me up with his exaggerated facial expressions of surprise, agreement, etc. as he listened to Dewey's story.

    "Hahaha -- PIZZAS!"

  • I wonder if he was like that in real life, was he really acting or just being the big loveable guy that he was anyway

  • R.I.P. John. We'll miss U!

  • Why all the best actors are dead? for example: John Candy, Chris Farley and Joe Viterelli.

  • @EnergyDog23 dont forget jim varney!

  • Love.

  • YES!

  • hell of an actor, just a natural. RIP big guy.

  • Dewey Oxburger.

  • Dewey Oxburger, what a name and so metaphoric

  • RIP john candy

  • @shammyskickass R.I.P. to that guy, indeed. He passed away from a heart attack. My family and friends found him funny.

  • It would have been impossible not to love John Candy. He is simply the western peoples uncle.

  • Farley?

  • Canadian director( Ivan Reitman), Canadian writer (Len Blum) & John Candy is also a syrup sucker too.

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN !!

  • I love John Candy, he was so funny.

  • This sound like one of Leno's bad monologues.

  • 0:34 haha

  • I love Harold Ramis's expressions while John Candy tells his story.

  • @Dmasterman

Those two are both veterans of Second City.

  • @Dmasterman Oh yes man...

  • I swallowed a lot of agression, along with a lot of pizzas

  • @flyers22 LOL! It is so sad that John Candy passed away.

  • @flyers22 LMBO!

  • Sgt Hulka's (Warren Oates)expression a5 :50 secs is priceless...one of my fav scenes in cinematic history is this whole barracks scene...truly priceless.thx for this!

  • @moco635 Yes, indeed it was. It's a damn shame Warren Oates died young -- he was only 53 when he died suddenly of a heart attack on April 3,1982. :-(

  • @ricsanta1 And John Candy was only 43 when he died from a heart attack on March 4th, 1994. :(

  • @PreviewDude52797 Yes, sad but true. If I'm not mistaken, John Candy died during the filming of "Wagons East". I'll bet they had to use his stunt double for the rest of the film. The phrase "This film is dedicated to John Candy" was tacked on to the end credits of "Wagons East".

  • @ricsanta1 Is Wagons East any good? Because I heard that one didn't get the best reviews.

  • @PreviewDude52797 Personally, I thought "Wagons East" was worth watching. I was fascinated by its promo line: "They came. They saw. They changed their minds". :-)

  • @ricsanta1 Well, they obviously referenced a line from Ghostbusters:

"We came. We saw. We kicked it's ass!" :)

  • Anyone who doesn't appreciate John Candy's sense of humor simply doesn't understand true comedy. The day Candy died was a sad day indeed. Belushi, Candy, Farley, so sad they all went way too soon.

  • Wish someone could upload this movie. It´s hilarious!!! :D

  • The best line is when he says what do you guys got a six eight week training program here..which is perfect for me..love that line
