Hi, I was just wondering what type of film you used. It's beautiful! I just recently bought a super 8 camera and am trying to figure out what kind of film to use. I also live in Plymouth. I totally recognize Cordage Park! Thanks!
you know what, I was going to mention how I never noticed that wall curving in and now I've realized the uncanny similarities between your OG Plymouth and mine. even down to the shot where you're viewing the building through the barbed fence it's unbelievable how closely this resembles the old buildings of Cordage Park here in Plymouth Massachusetts. your buildings have more windows intact though.
this is cool that you filmed there. I spend so much time right there at the T station skating. I would have been psyched to see a Nizo 801 in real life. there are so many filming opportunities around this area. I'm about to get a Nizo myself but unfortunately it won't be an 801.
It's wrongly placed on Google Maps. Should be at Millbay Rd entrance to Ferry Port.
Nice vid, glad you captured it. Pity the building is being demolished. I'm sure some paunchy councillor got extra pies for allowing that. Should have redeveloped the shell. We'll get plastic in its place.
yeh, same thing is going on here in barnstaple...prime location old buildings mysteriously burn down leaving room for paunchy councillors to get the pies in! ...i'm just about to shoot my first reel of S8 and will be using the widescreen centre for dev & telecine...great film...straight to favourites!

Wow! This is so eerie! It makes you feel daunted by the building
Might I ask what the soundtrack is? It is very fitting

It's been officially knocked down now. It's a shame 'cause it's been there for years and now they just decide to knock it down!

The clouds don't even look like clouds; final exhales of demolished buildings.
