Myst 4 blown away all my senses.

Throughout the game, graphics are awesome, music embrace you, sounds effects and overall ambiance immersed you deeply. The plot was interesting to follow, and most puzzles are a good challenge to your brain.

May all those who say that video game isn't an art give a try at the Myst series.

I know iTunes recently put the song up as a part of Peter Gabriel's So+ album, but it leaves out the words from 1:35 on, and it's an ENTIRELY different version of the song. Still good, but this one is definitely more emotionally "there".

I got it by extracting the audio file with Revelator, which unpacks the resources from the game file. If you have the game installed, you can try to pull it out. I don't have it installed anymore, but there are more than a few people on the internet who are offering to send it to whoever wants it. If you still can't get it, let me know and I'll try to install it again.

I remember the first time I got to this part of the Myst IV game. Let me note, I have been a long time Myst and URU fan.

Anyway, the song is so Angelic, I couldn't help but get a few tears. The video itself doesnt reallt do it. You have to be in the game to really get it. Thsi was my favorite Myst moment.

Without giving too much away and spoiling it for anyone that hasn't played the game through, this is a clip of the three spirit guides guiding you, the traveler, through the dream world. The game's designed to only give you one random spirit guide at a time per play, but they didn't want to make a video for each guide, so they made one video of the journey for all three guides.

Exile was my favorit to but I think I played a to much.

I understand the Idea behind URU but I just don't type fast enough to play online games.

So althout I have the game I just played it a little and then gave up on it. I prefer the superb grafics of the earlyer other games anyway. And I still remeber playing the first Myst game a few months after it came out, it was so diffrent from anything else that was out at the time. I hope Cyan worlds makes more games that have the same feel to them.

hm i found riven the most difficult one, rives was just HUGE, myst 4 was not that big but @ Haven I struggled very much. Uru (especially with it's expansions) was by far the most difficult myst gave, had to use a walkthrough because I was left without clues very often.

Oh I hated Uru! The last one too, I was so disappointed with their decision not to use the live actors--especially Atrus, whom I loved so much. I loved Myst IV, the end actually made me cry.

what crazyloudjukebox said made me smile. my dad and i played myst and riven together, back when they first came out. i was in third grade in 1993, when it all began, and i continued to play the other games by myself as i got older. the first time i played revelation i immediately thought about how if i had seen this as i child, it would have absolutely made me smile-cry. i'm glad i wasn't the only kid touched by cyan's visual worlds.

These games have really brought my bro and myself together and it brought both of us together withe our father.

If you enjoyed playing the games you should read the books if you havent already.They are by far the best books i have ever read.I truly hope that Cyan can some how keep the Myst Legacy alive.This one song made me go back to all the great memories we had playing these games.Sadly If they somehow release another one more my dad wouldn't be able to enjoy it as he is no longer with us
