No, because I was using EyeTV 250 which uses hardware encoding. The EyeTV software that captured this was running in the background but used so little CPU that it had no impact on the recording.
That is un-effing believable. Thanks for the video.
I'm hoping GTA San Andreas worksm and maybe Flight Sim X. I bought that game a week before I got the Mac. Ever since then I have barely touched it, as Boot Camp just seem s like too much hard work
wow you must be used to a windows partitioning program if you think bootcamp is hard work. You simply tell the program how big you want the windows partition to be and it tells you to insert the install CD. Extremely simple. Then you can install parallels and use the same install for the parallels desktop, negating the need for a virtual hd.
It's just set to the default of 16 MB. The amount of video memory only affects the resolutions you can display at, the 3D support will use however much memory it needs and is not affected by the amount of video memory you set for the VM.
3Dmark 2001 SE on my MBP 2.4 over boot camp winxp got 19.5k marks

Parallels Desktop 3.0 can currently only run 3DMark 2001. The Mac this is running on can run every 3DMark including 3DMark06.

Did you need two computers in order to do the capture this way with the EyeTV?

The shaders on the lake in the nature part of the demo are missing. Anyone else notice any other graphical errors?
