That whole family knew something was wrong with the basement and they still let their "friend" sleep in the basement. I would not let my friend sleep in an area of my home if I've had paranormal activity there. I would worry about them too much.

Why wouldnt they have gotten that poor dog out of the house when she started getting sick. They knew there was something paranormal there and they were warned about the dogs... wouldnt this make you kind of think "hey maybe i should get my sick dog out of this house and see if she gets better??" breaks my heart </3

@hi2u2ok We did NOT even know these were warnings, just believe that what was there was trying to evoke more fear but we soon learned that they were warnings and they came from her father we believe now.

when a phantom threatens your famliy with bad happening that is potenly lethal it time to get an exorcism done to boot it out sins in this case the spirit is more likely demonic and will just go out of it way to wreck any peace that it sees

@hdyudu After we did the ghost box sessions that night we had no idea that what we heard were warnings until they started coming true. After we did the house blessing what was there left.

@hdyudu We did the investigation, smudged the house, reviewed the audio and went back several times doing various things to rid the home of what ever was there and then we did a house blessing and it did leave.

@hdyudu we have never determined that but we did have the furnace inspected a couple of weeks prior to the furnace catching fire and everything checked out but after the fire a part had became defected and caused the fire but we have always wondered why it did become that way.

the only way that can happen is if something was blocking the porthole where the flame are injected into combustion chambers which are tubular and run in the heat exchangeing box back and forward in a glove finger shape like the way a heating element coils in an electric oven runs on the bottom and top but thare a safety device located around the burner box call a flame rollout senser that will shut down the

unit if something like that happens the cause for the device to fail is beyond me

i agree, everything could've been cleansed right away after the paranormal box talk. and then keep a watch out. but where are the PRRS? they were there and then they're not? i'd check up on them like everyday.

@alexxxy This was an hour TV show that did not show everything. This case was opened on Halloween Night in 2008 and we spent several months helping this family and did rid the home of what was there. We did cleanse the home and follow all the procedures we do on a regular basis. You have to understand we had NO way of knowing what these words were or that they were warnings.

Poor Baby! That is strange how everything happened that the ghost box warned them about. It breaks my heart to see the dog died though! :(

@taylorluvshorses16 It did mine too and we later discovered that a guy living in the house that was not part of the episode was the one bringing the stuff in and he later was rushed by STAT flight to a hospital because he was having the same thing happen to him that happened to babe.

@arashiangel Leaving your home when your unemployed and not funds to relocate is a little difficult don't ya think? It sounds easy enough but think about if it were you...it is not as easy as it sounds to just flee from your home from something you cannot even see.

The only way for the flames to come out of the firebox would be if the vent or the heat exchangers were blocked. But the safety switches or thermal fuse, would have secured the gas to the burners had the heat gone beyond the safe range. This just seems to be sensationalism to spice up the show, fluff if you will.

@EchosFromaBlankMind No the furnace did catch fire, a part became faulty only a couple of weeks after we had the furnace inspected and it passed.

@Jenny47130 When you say that the furnace caught fire, exactly what metal part of it caught fire? What it sounds like that happened is that somehow the vent flue got blocked, be it a mechanical collapse or insect or birds nest intrusion. Maybe someone installed it themselves and did not do it correctly and was hidden from the inspection that was performed. So simply stated, someone turned the heat on and the flames had no place to go but out of the firebox in search of air. But no ghosts!

I do not know if the furnace that was shown in this episode was based on the actual one. But the one shown appears to be a typical FAU (Possibly a Goodman), and having the faceplate or front cover off would not expose the flames, assuming it had a typical fire box with a ribbon strip type burners, or if it was a nozzled jet type burner, it may appear to the untrained eye that the flame is on the exterior.

@EchosFromaBlankMind it is a Radio Shack AM/FM radio that has been modified to continually scan the band but not stop on a station, every click you hear is it hitting a station . The theory is that it creates white noise and the spirits are able to utilize the radio fragments ( words ) to create other words or sentences.
