a fuzzy image of a person shows up on the tv amongst the white noise. the bearded guy turns and sees that the girl has disappeared. he thinks he's seeing things and tries to take his brother to school. his brother is reluctant, and as they exit the house, they notice the streets are unusually empty. THEN something falls from the sky! [CUT]
