Black people need to set up their own ECONOMY to creat Jobs, housing, education, and security, for their own people of all age groups. The youth have been left to DEPEND on a system that allows the BNP a seat in the GLA, and Parliment. The rich black elite , and black Activist, need to stop feeding their own bellies and champion a black economy. piperbob's comments unfortunately have a ring of truth. I was a cop in these riots in 1981, and a few years later in 1985, although it wasn't so bad the second time.

It took 25 years for the black community to come out and openly discuss the problem of black youth crime. Unfortunately the black youth now appear to be imploding, with all the black on black on crime including murders.

There are a lot of good people in London some who were very bad a few years ago! Reality cannot be ignored.

Yes, you're right about immigration/colonisation but wrong about any ordinary white person's ancestors doing anything other than being conscripted into an army to carry out orders and/or die! This is a very good video and its original. The riots happened because of many things but mainly because of the heavy handedness of the police when it came to stopping and searching black youth. Tensions were high in Brixton because of high unemployment levels and poverty. All these things combined, it was like a cauldron ready to bubble over and it finally did. These people were so frustrated and wanted their voices to be heard.
