I don't see any near mishap or fail here...I also don't agree in the slightest to twin turbocharging a 458, but I'll keep further comments to myself :P (so as to not start flame wars or internet arguing)

@jonasmma07 they are not waterproof. they are resistant and they still tell you to protect the port. That is why they offer a waterproof case. I have talked to them directly and bought one of their earliest units... trust me, I know the product really well.

Wasn't really a near-fail because SD cards can survive through water. Plus, if the camera crashes the files will still be useable.

@t8trg8tr he doesnt have a water proof case on his GoPro (thats the only flaw about the GoPro) to run it in the water you need the case to keep the water out of the lens

@r35killa What do you mean by: thats the only flaw about the GoPro? Of course GoPro is waterproof, you just have to use the correct lid. I suspect they used the non-waterproof case because it was a nice day and because it provides better sound.

@Moxtrox they advertise it as a waterproof cammera but you need to buy a waterproof by itself to make it 100% waterproof. Its more or less saying buy our case so you can fully protect your GoPro. thats their flaw. and yes you would be correct about the nice day and sound quality part

@r35killa That is not true at all. It is 100% water proof when you buy it. The first thing I did with my GoPro was throwing it in a pool.

@Moxtrox not true... the connector for the bakpak is an open port... this is not waterproof, hence the waterproof case. They port is tight (somewhat water resistant according to the specs) but they clearly state, if you are going to submerge, you should use the case. You may have gotten luckily but the camera out of the box is not guaranteed to be waterproof. If so, leave it at the bottom or your pool for 30 minutes and post the time elapse video and show it to us... hehe

Yo, TT really, as highly engineered the 458 is I don't know if messing with the power train is a good idea ( even though it did sound delicious). Certain platforms should be left alone i.e. Ferrari and V12 Lambos. Those turbos did sound good though....
