What is the cost of building one of these homes I wonder? How long does one of these home last? How much maintenance do they need?

A basic nest, one of about 1100 sq ft with the systems will be around $30,000 depending on how much labor you put in, how good you are at shopping, and being conservative in what a home is. As far as how long they last, probably several centuries I would imagine. Where it is built matters for Maintentance. Metal roofing and using steel and glass for the greenhouse makes them very low mainteneance. Systems are a little more effort, but not compared to the returns on investment.
