I remember this video from 1965. I saw it as a young teenager in a movie theater in California and I was spellbound by the music and the stunning girls. They were and are the most beautiful girls I have ever seen in my life. This is what made the 1960's truly magical.
Yes I'd also like to know the name of the guitar player that played this so wonderfully...it's a magical combination of musicians on this recording....1964 England baby! Fabulous....absolutely!
I take that your from England. That PopGear clip for me sticks out as the best. How did your family know her if I may ask?Myself I'm a British Invasion fan.I've been trying to find the group who did the music for this scene.Joe
what I love about things like this... is the fact that they rehearsed this! They took the time and got together and learned these dance steps to be filmed in gold lamee stretch pants and a leotard. A true classic. I love it!
Years of ballet lessons, tap dance lessons, singing lessons, drama and art class all for a few minutes of video or a 10 second spot as an extra in a commercial or movie.
Too bad they are all in their sixties now.

@RockBrent I doubt that. These girls are probably about my mom's age. They're probably in their 60's now. Some may have passed on.

The best dancer is the one in the sea green top who shuffles off at the end. MY favorite, however, is the one in the pink.
I agree -- great music.

The girl in purple is gorgeous! Too bad about her passing.

John Mclauchlin or his mentor Joe Moretti, not many others could have played to that standard at that time.

Sound like the great Joe Morretti of The Pirates (Shakin' all Over) and later with Tony Meehan's Combo ( Song of Mexoco / Kings go Fifth)

how ironic, she had the only camera close up, looked like she was having a blast, keep the good memories.

Sorry to hear of the passing of your family's good friend. She was great in this video, absolutely.
This entire number (dancers and the instrumental song) is terrific!
