um i don't think enough people's jaw drops when they see those amazing trumpet players hit that high note and not stress their shoulders nor their neck thats utterly amazing they are my role models in what i wanna look and sound like as a trumpet player, but i also am a french horn player and these french hornist play like none other their sounds along with the trumpets peirce through the orchestral sound with beautifullness too add to the texture of the peice all in all bravo these people amaz
Opening pace is just too fast - clarity clarity is what Mahler wanted. the firs few bars got muddied. Good, but too fast. Abbado is one of my favorite Mahler conductors too. :-(
