  • Wow, really great boss. I sometimes miss bosses like this nowadays

  • there is no way this is a real video game?

  • Ugh. Why'd you get rid of the awesome Arich Boss theme?

  • It looks like something from Spore

  • I'm so glad you have this video to show all them all that this is an awesome boss theme. I am really peeved that they took out Bleak's laugh among so many other things; however, this boss is a nice addition. Much better than Kerozene who doesn't fit in DKC2 at all

  • this boss is an insult to a great franchise. it must have taken an entire 5 minutes to design that graphic

  • The gba version would be so much better if all the stages had snes music, like the previous two. I know the snes version by heart (I've played it hundreds of times) so when I play the gba this different music is really irritating!

  • lol i was thinking the same thing zigelhh07. Totally looks like something from spore creature creator.

  • ugh the gba version sucked so bad

  • Reminds me of the game "Spore"

  • @Zigelhh07 Yeah, it looks like it's right from the cell stage. ^^

The original Kroctopus was an enemy form DKC1 that looked like a normal octopus.

  • this boss was a pain in the butt hes way more harder then barbos

  • They didn't use the SNES soundtrack on the GBA version cause the GBA versions of DKC & DKC2 sounded terrible compared to their SNES counterparts and people complained about there sound quality on that.

  • @CaptainWhiskerslol Actually, they changed the songs for this remake because the original snes songs tones were too low pitched for the gba to handle

  • Why does Kroctopus remind me of the microbes in spore?

  • gba -.-

  • Comment removed

  • BTW, it's eight beaked, not three.

  • Why did they have to change the soundtrack on the GBA version?WHY?=( The SNES version is WAY better than the GBA version hands down! The only good thing about the GBA version is the addition of Kroctopus.

  • hes right it suppose to use Arichs tune but this is snes it uses its tune on Gameboy Advance SP

  • oooooooooohh. damn, i wanted to fight it!

  • dumbest boss ever...

  • can you fight this on snes? cause i never found him.

  • No, this boss is only in the gba version, because of the new world, Pacifica. This boss is the razor ridge boss in gba, so Barbos, the original razor ridge boss, is the Pacifica boss.

  • I think the folks over at Rareware were smoking pot when they thought up the music for the GBA.....just TERRIBLe imho....I mean I beat the GBA version, but will always be loyal to the TRUE DKC3 on the SNES!

  • @4starcashier to be honest, neither had great boss music. Well compared to the first 2 games

  • @4starcashier

    lolwut

have you heard rock-face rumble, water world and stilt village (GBA version)?

  • @4starcashier

The pipe and water themes don't sound too bad, and the boardwalk theme fits (though the intro's a problem). But yeah, I agree with you on the tree theme.

  • Awesome a three beaked octopus.

  • Thank you for sending this battle

  • Thanks! I always wanted to know if it would be fitting or not to have the SNES music or not, and it seems it is quite fitting, indeed!~

  • Indeed.
