I'm a Man, very "macho", but i still criyng listenning this Music. I remember mine childhood, when I was happy and did not know. Thankyou, my Lord, for these memories.
I was in my first year of college when this song came out. Listening to it again brings back all the memory of my younger years in Indonesia. It reminds me of all my friends, especially the pretty girls... where are they now? How beautiful... thank you for uploading it...
R.I.P. MAURICE GIBB!
Classic, masterpiece, musicianship of the highest order! Absolutely awesome. Sadly, like some have commented, this song did not get the recognition it certainly deserved.
My God, that Turnaround at the end! No one could expect the melody to go in that direction. This is a Masterpiece of the first water, one of the greatest compositions of all time, just utterly Majestic. I can't blame Robin for quitting over this not being released as the A- side.
Habe ich damals schon als junger Spund sehr gern gehört. Jetzt als junggebleibener höre ich mir diesen Titel gerne an, weil man da auch mal die baumeln lassen kann. Super Hit von den Bee Gees
Beautiful song from a brilliant album. The Odessa album was every bit as ambitious as The Beatles "SGT. Pepper" album, and on the same level as far as I'm concerned.
@TIMOTHYSAARINEN, well spoken, dude!! "The Odessa album was every bit as ambitious as The Beatles "SGT. Pepper" album, and on the same level as far as I'm concerned."- my words! Totally underated album, the most perfect collection of harmonies I ever heard combined on one disc.
une des rares chansons de Bee Gees. c'est un chef d'oeuvre pour moi. Merci Gilles. Je suis sur que les jeunes d'aujourd'hui ne la connaissent meme pas.
@LCRV1 yes they do a 3 cd stereo mono and outtakes for the 40th anniversary last year. and it has the groovy red velvet cover like the album. take it easy lcrv1
of the more than 600 songs composed by the phenomenal brothers Gibb, this is my top favorite, this is a song that sadly never got the recognition that it deserved, I have almost all of the albums written by the fantastic BEE GEES, really the best group of the XX century, Barry, Robin(my favorite voice( and sadly late Maurice, stand as the Mozart and Beethoven of the XX century and this 24 karat gem their top one
When I hear this song I am a child again and I remember wonderful childhood times I had in the beginning of the 70s. I love all the old songs from the Bee Gees they made at the end of the 70s. Thanks a lot for postin' it and lots of love from Germany - alles Liebe aus Deutschland.
