heres how to do it. try and land as close to the edge as possible. then when you got it in position. land then just about when your gonna touch the ground. hold L1+left+square. then you should glitch of the edge.

Knights of The Round is just worth the chocobo breeding, i spent a day or two on chocobo raising and racing alone. I figured this out on my own because i knew that ship had to be able to land SOMEWHERE that wasn't grass. I've played this game 3 or 4 times over 100 hours each since its release and to think i bought it by mistake thinking it was something completely different way back then.

What I did was HOLD L1 and R1 throughout, this keeps ur airship landing straight down

So go to the edge of the cliff, doesnt matter how high up or low to the ground u are, just follow your shadow and keep it adjacent to the edge.

Then WHILE holding L1 and R1, press X to Land and HOLD down SQUARE and LEFT, it'll TUG your ship left and drop her off.

No, you can't I tried it they made it to were the Airship turns towards the grass so you can't get out that way.

4 times, Tifa got stuck, that just means I dropped her off at the bottom of the shore without tugging left hard enough. about 10 times, my airship dropped and picked up almost immediately without sending Tifa out. just keep doing it and you'll get it.

@LegendaryBlade i thought the chocobo breeding and racing was one of the most enjoyable parts of the game myself, and helped to make it the standout final fantasy that it is. the card games and chocobo hot and cold bullshit that followed were no substitute for chocobo racing, shame there were not more tracks though.

Took me a couple tries, but I figured it out. make it so the ship is pointing south on the map, and move over to the pointy part. while you're landing, make sure you're holding L1 so that the ship doesn't turn. Also hold left and square. and there you have it.

It tried this yesterday while already in disc 3, and it does not work. It seems that because Highwind alrship has jet engines, it does not work as in this video which was done during disc 2 when Cloud was lost.

Actually I just did it on disc 3. The same way its done in the vid. As you land hold left and square until the highwind fully lands. Sometimes you'll land and then shoot back up. If that happens it means you werent over far enough. Hope this helps.

I finally did the glitch, but instead of using Square I really quickly pressed the R1 button at the edge of the cliff, it really works

Actually I recommend using both R1 and Square at the same time, the R1 negated the tendency for the highwind to make a 180° turn, and the square pushed me to the side

all of the items in the caves are garbage. Hp -> MP? Why would you ever do that? Quadra magic sounds nice at first, but then u figure out that all 4 castings of the magic are much weaker than normal. Knights of the Round....... well its strong, but its takes forever to cast. The best Materia ur characters can have is 4x cut. Its an automatic 40k damage and it can also hit all targets.

This was probably done when Cloud was sick and weird in Mideel. Tifa is the leader at that time.
