To make sense of my ranting, start from the bottom post and work your way. In conclusion, don't get me wrong. I want to go back to the day too. I'm just being real.
. There are open air reservoirs that allow the water to evaporate quickly, not to mention leach through the bottom. They input millions of dollars locally rather than out-sourceing overseas where it's less expensive in an effort to help local economy. They hire hundreds of people and pay them well. Homesteaders have complete access to water. In fact, if they used more, it would mean Monsanto would have to use less.
. I also want to add that it's unreal how the association of Monsanto being anti-hawaiian has seeded. It what ways? How? By paying rent? By leasing land at a high premium? Fixing the MIS water system so all can use it? They asked for an increase in water usage while in return funded repairs and upgrades. Anyone who's ever gone into the forest has seen the parasitic loss of water through an irrigation system that is far past it's life cycle.
? I completely understand the wanton need of this to happen, and I personally support anyone who can. I know a handful of people. The do have enriched lives from taking it back down to the soil. Working directly with 14 different colleges along with over 40 different grass roots breeding organizations gives me a deeper understanding of what challenges we face over the next 50 years.
The romantic notion of applying community based food banks/propagated nutritional biomass is just that....a romantic notion. I love listening to people who have the solution to feed the world. I challenge you all to put it in practice. Every day. All year round. It's hard work, no?
I wish more energy was placed to confront Monsanto and push them off the islands. it is sad that the government gave Hawaiians such a small plot of land to preserve their culture on. I wish people on the islands understood how illegitimate the US government is in occupying their land. If foreigners really cared about the health of the Hawaiian people and their culture then they should do more than help them on their tiny reservation.
@uhhhgggg You are so right. Monsanto must be stopped . First we have to expose them and what they are doing for everyone to see . I have been recommending everyone to watch Food Inc as a place to start .
the revolution is here guys. eating, breathing and living are basically a privelege now. get educated. watch the Obama Deception here on youtube and know the bankers genocidalist agenda.
It seems that organic farming is now under threat from becoming illegal in the US. With Codex Alimentarius set for implementation in Dec this year, we have to get really busy with as many people as possible to avoid the coming storm.
If you look at it, it cannot be really called farming, as long as you dont say it is a farm. On the other hand, every living thing is organic, even molecules can be organic, so, whats the problem? you dont have a farm, a forest ha grown on your land...
See Rob Arthur Menard stuff for interesting stuff on laws and "acts" and more..
Monsanto is evil. They are the same ones who sponsored bills in congress to place control over ALL agriculture in government hands, which would result in the end of organic farming. ='[.]'=

. I apologize to all for sounding like an irritating jerk, but I get really tired of people bashing things they don't fully understand.
