What type of tires did you use on this trip with riding on highways and gravel roads? Are those spare tires you carried om the back or did you carry rims and tires for quick changes? Thanks. Some great scenery.
Bike has an unclear history, was originally an east coast bike, ridden to California, and I bought it with thrashed tires and a faulty alternator. I put tires on it and fixed the alternator and promptly rode it to Baja, with my son who rode his '71 CB500. The day after I got back, I broke a clutch cable having no spare. that was at about 26,000 miles.......the bike now has over 50,000 miles, and I ride it everyday.
Regarding the "miles"........KNOW what you have under you.

How many miles are on that beast?? I've got a 1974 R90/6 with 90K and I can't wait to take her on a haul like this!! Best bike I've ever rode!!!
