  • Does this work with the blackberry curve 8520?

  • i cunt put the screen bak on -_-

  • Thanks for the tutorial, this was too easy. I was preparing to get out my torx drivers and disassemble the case from the back, then I saw this tutorial.

  • Nice... worked great.. Mine had no glue on one side of the cover, this allowed more dust inside. Possible solution would be to find some sticky glue (like they used from factory) and add as necessary to make complete seal.

  • Duuuuumb

  • The screen is held on by a sticky strip. The strip remains on the screen if you go nice and easy while pulling the screen off.

The more times you do this the less it will stick (unless you super-glue it back) so you have to make a call which you hate more: a loose screen that lets more dust in, or the amount of dust already on the screen.

  • Wait, what happens when you pry the screen out? isnt it not prone to more dust? Does it fit tight once you re-install the lens cover?

  • dont pri open the screen there! it will damage the cover, do it at the top in where the ear speaker is with a butter knife of something

  • it has some sort of glue

  • hey when you take that front part of the screen off like you did, what was holding it on? (glue, tabs, etc)

  • I believe it's glue, as he said in the video
